Default anybody ever heard of financing a turbo kit?

i've been wanting to go FI ever since i got my car but never had the money. now that i've ridden in a few turbo Gs/Zs, i want a turbo more than ever. has anyone ever heard of shops/companies allowing you to finance a turbo and pay minimal interest? The best route is definitely to wait until i have enough money, but if there is a safe alternative, i'm willing to give it a try. thanks

Vivid Racing? http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/vivid.php/cPath/3510

Vivid Racing and CarCareOne offers you a great alternative to getting you your parts NOW, and you dont have to pay any Interest for up to 12 months!!!
BTW, I haven't had any experience with them. I just saw that particular link today.

If you want Greddy or Power Enterprise, check out EDO Performance. They have financing options.

Look into being able to finance $10,000 to get your blown motor Z back up and running just in case as well. Financing a turbo kit is very dumb IMO.

if you can't afford to pay cash for the turbo kit, you have no business going forced induction. What happens when your motor blows? You're 6k in the hole for a kit you can't use, with a car you can't drive, because your financed turbo kit blew your motor.

As is financing a car wasn't a bad idea...why would you finance a turbo like Alberto has said only to blow up your block? Then you have potentially two sets of payments on a car that can't run...

Sell your Z and turbo a cheaper car, or better yet, mod a factory F/I car. If you can't afford to do it, don't do it.

Financing a turbo kit is beyond asinine.

Definitely even worse than financing a Dell computer.

-Mike (can't afford to do it either)

there is no difference between financing and putting it on a credit card. If that is what you want, do it! ..........but understand what you may be getting into.

also, plan ahead. there are always so many little extras add in when adding a FI setup.. It is NEVER a perfect thing. There are always compromises!!!

if u can pay it off in 1 yr then sign up for a new cc with those no interest and no payment plans for 12 months. Just dont go crazy by uping the boost. I would just plan to boost 5psi on a stock motor until u have enough money to up the boost to be on the safe side if your motor blows.

I did the CC thing years ago.

I've paid cash for every mod on the Z....and you know what? I'm not paying interest on stuff I own outright
