I've heard the same thing from the big time domestic guys here in the Detroit area. I think it's going to be much sooner than later.

aren't they popping around 750whp? I remember seeing some dyno vids of guys throwing a cam and 150 shot on the ls7........that's about 700whp or so with headers.

I already know of at least one person that sold their c6 z06 to buy a c6 + APS TT.

im not very up to date on the GM motors, but what is the difference between the c6 motor and the c6 z06 motor, one would think that they were the same block. if so why would the z06, which is the supercar, have a weaker motor than the stock c6?

taurran, i think the vid you are talking about is the one i posted a while back, and it was a z06 with a 300 shot. so that would be around 800. but something was funny about that, either it was setup wrong, or there was pooling in the intake, something wasnt right.

either way, im sure this motor wont last long by any means.

the c6 z06 is a new block based off the LS2. it's 7L vs. 6.2 on the LS2, also titanium con-rods, all lightweight stuff.

Also, if I remember hearing this right, the cylinder walls are much thinner in the Z06 than the C6 engine due to the bore of the cylinder to obtain larger displacement.?
