Default if anyone happens to have an FCON laying around?

I am suspect to a glitch with my FCON. HKS has offered to repair/upgrade it for very low cost since attempted solutions hadn't changed it.

But before I go thru the downtown of sending it in, I would like to "rent" one or something from someone just for a moment. I would need it for a day or two just to have my map swapped on and put it in the car and see if the problem is gone or still there. That way I know for sure that going thru the downtime of sending it in would be worth it.

Its just that, no one has ever really seen a bad FCON. A guy at HKS told me that in his very long stay there he has only seen 2 have a problem, so its somewhat likely that I have something messed up in the parameters or even an issue with a bad sensor in my car, who knows. - its just that the first year I ran the FCON i didnt have this problem, and swapping my old maps on there didnt fix it either.

So anyhow, if you have a FCON, new or used, just laying around... and you wouldnt mind renting it out for a week to a reputable guy - please let me know.

I never asked him, but I would be surprised if they were stocking FCONs... not many shops do. I dont think he would want to take a brand new unit out of the box anyway, because then of course he couldnt sell it as a brand new unit anymore.

As for today, the forecast was terrible weather = Z stays tucked in at home.

good thing, FCON is the way to go if you have the means. nothing runs a Z quite as well.
