Well after 20k miles on my aps tt setup I'm now having stalling issues. From a dead stop and reving the motor it will not do it but under load while driving and coming to a stop it dies or almost dies. So far I have replaced the spark plugs, installed new belts since they were very worn with cracks, cleaned the MAF with cfr eletrical spray, reset the ecu,checked the BOV, checked for a vacuum leaks and have yet to fix the problem.. My only other guess would be a bad 02 sensor or maybe even a bad MAF..

Get a tune or raise the idle.

4 months... You think there could be mapping problems with the uni-chip??

 

Well I do know if the weather has changed in that time it will throw the car off. If this isnt the problem and you car is a pre 04 then just raise the idle at the dealer.

 

Air flow meter,take it to the shop.Put it on the scope,for codes.

 

Does the car hesitate the start right away after the stall? But if you wait ~5-10 seconds it'll fire back up and act like it never happened?

My thoughts: CAS + TPS

Are you throwing a code?

 

Do a search on this. Lots of APS cars have gone through this.

 

I've done searches already. After stalling the car will start right away and run fine. There were 2 check engine lights but I cleared them before thinking they would not come back in which they have not but the car is still stalling.. Maybe a new MAF is in order..
