Latest pics of my TT 350z
I finally have some pictures of my Z that I am thrilled with. Ricky, from IRNN.net wanted to do a spotlight article on my car... and having seen many photos of his work in the past, I was pretty stoked about it.
The car is painted IS300 Graphite Gray Pearl now. Last year on the dyno it made 573rwhp at 14psi. I had to stop there because of headgasket problems. I havent put it on the dyno yet this year (this time w/ BuiltZMotors 1/2" Headstuds with HKS headgaskets, and I raised the compression back up to 9:1 with CP Pistons), but it should be around the same power right now. As soon as I strap it down, I will turn it up to 650rwhp and then I am done with this car. From there on its just a matter of working out any last bugs (and trust me, there are bugs to work out!!!), and then I want to finally stop putting money into this ****box!!!!

Yeah right! Your chit is off the fuking shizzle! Looks great and that tag is awesome! It might find it's way onto my next car.
How are you tuning your car now that you are no longer a HKS certified?

I really appreciate the compliments guys. Sometimes I get so burned out of this car, thats its remotivating to know that people like it.
Yes, I have had the plates for over 2 years now, and I get compliments on them literally almost every time I drive the car. I do not mind if anyone takes the same plates in their state, as long as *IF* I ever move to that state, the plates are surrendered to me@!@!!
That is one reason why my car doesnt have the new intake manifold on it, or anything else that would effect the VE curve enough to require a retune. Last time I tuned the car, I activated the closed loop cycle wiht the wideband on ALL cells to the fuel trim map. This means that my car is is a constant state of self retuning right now with no limits on how far it will adjust - which is actually working out pretty damn good!
Luckily I have plenty of friends that are Prodealer certified... or maybe I will just throw an E-Manage on top of my FCON!

I had a AEBS sleeved block last year with ARP headstuds and stock headgaskets. It didnt last even thru the dyno session before signs of blown headgaskets were evident. After taking it to the track once and doing a few highway races, it was DONE.
Now I have a stock sleeve block left over from a customers build (thanks Paul!), with my pauters and some 9:1 CPs. Todd @ BuiltZMotors did my head stud machine work for me, and my local machine shop did the rest of the machining.
