For 550whp, if I had to do it again, Id do the Cj kit. AAM is a great kit but "sweats" gas vapor/smell, and it reeks in the garage. For 600+whp, Id do the APS Extreme Fuel system no doubt...

I would go with the CJ Motorsports kit. I have owned both the AAM and the CJM kits and held them in person, CJM is a lot better.

We've used both...definately prefer the CJM system. It's a better system in ever way. Both good systems, but the CJM is better. http://www.forgedperformance.com/sto...cat=251&page=1
We some kits in stock.

Until saturday I was very happy with the APS Extreme Fuel System.
The verdict is not yet in on what caused the fuel pump to die (other thread)so at this point I can only half heartedly recommend the APS Extreme
Since I am one of the first in the US that had that kit installed there might be still some bugs, I'm sure that those will be addressed in the next batch though

Can you share that info here? It might be something valuable for the next person.

I dont think Phunk wants to start a cjm vs. aps fuel system war on the forums so that might be why hes not saying the flaws he sees with their design.

Maybe he will post them who knows.

Not to hijack the thread but can the aam system still be used with adding a few different components from the cjm setup to better support higher horse power ?

How much power can the standard CJM fuel system support?

The S1 is rated to 550rwhp... beyond that I am not sure exactly how much further you could go before fuel pressure starts falling off.

The reasons I prefer the CJM system are as follows:

1) Compression fitting (Secure) connection to the factor hard feed line. No chance of the OEM plastic connector blowing off or leaking...this has happened to us before.

2) All lines are teflon wrapped, and they do not chaff or sweat fuel vapor.

3) Routing of the lines is much more streamlined, and the feed line is routed away from heat...and it comes pre-heat wrapped.

These are the major benifits I see....having installed a lot of both systems.
