Stock Flywheel
Will the stock flywheel be safe for 550rwhp! I really think that it will just want to make sure. JWT clutch
I'm so far choosing not to get a lightened flywheel do to the chatter and other noises that I've heard about.

the link is the noise that I'm tring to avoid by using a lighten flywheel>>

If ur looking to do 550 HP u better be looking to get serious bout ur drivetrain. It would scare me to death running a stock flywheel on any thing over 400. If that monstriosity desides to take a launch ud better be wearing Titanium Fruit of the Looms.
Frankly I dont even know what "Chatter" is --- A lighter flywheel is a little noisier, but thats just things u have to tolerate if ur going for HP.
Edit: I mite add that I dont even notice the JWTs as being noisier

I notice you have the JWT flywheel what type of noise do experience? Chatter might not have been the right word, sorry
Thats all right --certain words tend get used too much and "chatter" is one. I love it and its as smooth as can be--But Iv been jamming gears for close to 40 yrs. ---I think next clutch change I will go in with a Button disc set up ---Prob Iron ,not ceramic... But as far as the setup I got now, It took me 30 minutes to get used to it.

Have to relize that people that are just starting out, and learning about the sounds machines make, tend to over anaylize and the more they listen, the more the hear til they get themselves into a frenzy over normal sounds.
Now--- I do have a friend that has that 7 Lb Flywheel with buttons and have to say -----It makes a fockin racket !!!
BTW Stock : 28Lbs JWT : 14Lbs

I took a ride in a new aps tt g35 yesterday with a light flywheel and didnt like the sound of it off idle or at low rpm. It took the luxury out of the car.

My first clutch change was to the Nismo. That is the way the car should have come stock.
Next is the ATS three disc carbon with the ten pound flywheel. Quiet, smooth, and holds all the TT power I have, and you can slip it. No reason in the world if you run high hp FI to not go with a light flywheel and carbon disc clutch, as long as you are prepared to practice so you do not stall it, especially on uphill starts from a light. All good and the performance upgrade in shifting and rev matching is awesome. But don't let a valet touch it unless you want to see it airborne.
