Those ports are meant to prevent surge on the compressor at low throttle and engine air flow ranges while using a larger compressor. As for the pics believe me I want to see the stuff too. I haven't even seen the turbos in person. Oh this should peak your interest. I talked to Greg Vogel from Gspec.com last night and apparentely theres a VQ35DET powered 240 outside the show that belongs to "someone" running a GT-K turbo I cant wait to post pics of that!!!

I'm sitting in the airport now waiting to board my flight to Vegas. I can't wait myself. I brought 2 2gb mem card for my camera and my laptop to download the pics when they get full. (At SEMA I don't think they make a mem card for any camera thats large enough for all the pics you can take)

 

Man im excited, I really really want to see these pics. Gus(westpak)is their today and he was gonna take pics today also. PATIENCE lol thats what im holding on for dear life for.

 

would this setup be a modified Stage 2 setup to work in the 240 Chasis?
If it is, I want to see pics of the piping and what else is changed for the STage 2!!!!!!! NOW!!!!

PRI - Performance Racing Industry Show is coming up in Orlando.
Personally, I think the PRI is a better show if you are a gear head. No chicks, no gay ricer crap.............. just hardcore racing parts and machining equipment!!!

it is a better show. it's for hardcore motorsports....like you said, no ricer crap, etc. Problem is, SEMA brings out the big names. PRI is getting more and more well known and is bringing more of the big guys.

I'll be there this year (gotta have a shop get you in, or a vendor, can't just walk up and get in)

yup....I went a couple in college through my university. I was studying Mechanical Engineering and the SAE got us passes.

Last year, I got in through an aerospace fabrication company.

This year, I have had 2 offers from companies that will have booths. They both said that they can put me on their guest list. So, it looks like I'll be there this year, too!!!

 

i am proud to say that i've helped this "someone" to work on his car. i will tell you a lot of long and hard (no pun intended) nights went into this car, along with lots of help from sponsors.

it's a beautiful car and i cant wait to see it AT THE SHOW.
