You can but it is restrictive.

Could you please post pics of it? How much would you have it shipped to 39157? Will work with n/a?

My goals are 450-500whp. My last built car was 3xxwhp on an sr20det that I built. My thirst for power has risen.

you could get away with using a 2.5" td exhaust for those power goals and it might actually add 2-5whp while your n/a. add a jwt popcharger, test pipes, pulley, and tuned Utec and you could easily get 20whp and a better power curve which would give you a little "UMPH"

APS, SVTR (s/n overzealous), and HKS make 2.5" TD exhaust.

And all these mods will be supporting mods to the tt correct? I don't want to have to rebuy anything. I want to get things done right the first time. Which exhaust, and test pipe would you recommend?

everything except the popcharger which only cost just over $100. You can sell it for $50 after you go TT.

Either APS, SVTR, or HKS. It's just a matter of taste. Look them up and see which you like best. The APS is a great exhaust, but the only problem is that it looks like stock. I like a mean looking exhaust with BIG tips.

Very nice custom exhaust. Hope you don't mind me asking all these questions.

No problem. When I got my 3" exhaust there were none on the market. I probably would have got the AAM 3" true dual if was available when I did mine. The APS is just not agressive looking enough for me although it's a very nice exhaust. I live in Florida and there's no inspection of any kinds. I don't have to worry about tickets or anything. The APS works great for people that live in states like CA and are trying to hide their mods.

Sweet. I'm in Mississippi so there's no restrictions here either. What are your power goals anyways since you would have gone with the AAM if it was available at the time.

When I got my custom 3" made I was already putting out 543whp with my greddy tt and built motor. I was using the greddy evo exhaust, but the car was choking. The APS 3" was about to be released, but I couldn't wait a couple of months for it. The APS and AAM came out like 2-3 months after I got my custom exhaust.

you could always go with the 3" exhaust, but until you get your TT you are really not going to benefit from it. If you could live with that I would go with it. I personally love the way the 3" sounds. They are louder than 2.5", but they sound sweet.

Sweet. That's all I was wanting to hear. I can live with the loss but just want to get supporting mods that I don't have to change out later on. I will be going with the 3" td. You've been a big help. Whenever I post anything I hope you chime in and help a fellow 350zer out. One last question. Who tuned the car? Where? Who built it? How much if that is not to personal? I'm most likely gonna dump 15k into it.

those are tuff questions cause this car has been all over the United States. I have an SGP long block and it was tuned by Sam at GTM, but at Forged Performance. In January I am upgrading my head studs to L19's and changing my head gasket for an HKS. Sharif from Forged Performance will do doing the work and giving me a new tune. I am shooting for 600whp on a dyno jet. I am 526whp right now. I would definately recommend you check out Forged Performance. It's in GA, but lots of people are driving/trailoring their cars to Sharif.

Definitely Sharif. I've read nothing but great things he has done. I'm willing to drive my car 400 miles to him. Heh

Or you could get Speed Force Racing (www.speedforceracing.com) to make a 2.5" or 3" dual exhaust for you. I have a 3" dual with Burns mufflers on my N/A G right now, .... it is Loud to say the least. But I wanted a 3" exhaust for when I put the turbo kit on.

Tiim at SFR can/will make you whatever exhaust size/style you want! Check them out, give him a call. I'll try to post pics later if you want....
