Have you looked already into suspension setups and come up with any choices?

here is going to be my first setup. this is taking weight vs price vs funcitionability...

i am going with the RSR Ti 2000 springs. 417 spring rate but my car is lighter so that will go up a bit, BUT they are still the stock size coils so the rebound wont be as harsh as the rebound on a coilover smaller coil. then i am going to order tokicos for the back.

i think this will solve a lot of the problems. the automatic tranny will also get rid of a lot of the suspension problems because of not letting off to shift to second gear.

also Thanks Michael!!!

i will post a video the next time i run and what settings, i always like sharing what i learn so more people can not make my same mistakes. although all this has been done before, PM, i cant find any public help or knowledge being shared so it, to me, is unchartered territory... my normal track is having a big event on sat, so friday will be really busy. so i am not sure the next time i am going, i might still go...

I'm running the Nismo S-Tune suspension on my car and I have zero rebound/traction problems after the launch or on the 1-2 shift. Based on what I can see in picture and video of me launching, I get about 2-2.5 inches of rear end squat on the launch.

Jeremy, get some Lakewood 90/10 drag struts for the front. too bad they don't make 'em for imports, though. You'd be starring at the sky on launch!!!!

I'm surprised those small drag rims clear the calipers with that offset.

Jeremy, awesome job!!! Once you put the th400 in it should run 10.2-10.3's consistently. It may even break into the 9's on your "low" boost setup on a perfect run. With more seat time and tweaks to the set-up( engine and suspension) I have no doubt you will run well into the nines. Keep us updated. Once again great job, Jason

thanks guys, i try not to talk crap, just what i think i know is possible...

as soon as the tranny goes in, i will turn it up over 20, that will be lots of fun.

i wish clutches werent soo much money, i would get one but its just not worth the time or effort for me to do it, i will miss shifting, but going FAST out weighs my need for shifting 4 times down the track.

thanks again guys,

Alberto, i just have those old Eibachs in there, with a camber kit sitting right next to my tranny i dont need any more traction!!!

thats not the issue right now...

yeah man, that sounds perfect for what you want.

my car squats a lot but i have some old eibach sportlines that we trimmed up a while (.75 a coil) to see how i liked the car down a little lower.

long story. but anyways, do you know the spring rate on those and are the shocks adjustable...??

Not sure about the spring rate...I'm sure the specs are somewhere on the forum, it's around 15-20% higher than stock IIRC. The shocks are not adjustable...they are very well matched to the springs. I just love how stable my car feels on the launch, shifts and the whole way down the 1/4.

Does the ride looses the chopiness at highway speed? Make it more 911'esque?

Sick numbers bro. Congrats on the timeslips and good luck with the next run on the new tranny. Can't wait to see you in the 10's or even 9's.
