i am running an ACT street disk with a heavy duty pressure plate. the pedal feel is stiffer than stock which i really like, and i am running a jwt flywheel. i am really happy with my set up.
however if i had it to do over again i think i would go with an rps clutch/flywheel set up.

good luck bro.

I have a brand new ATS twin disc carbon clutch and flywheel that would be perfect for your setup, more expensive up front but atleast you wont be burning up $700-$800 clutches all the time, not to mention labor.

Anyways shoot me a PM ill give u a good price, its brand new in box never used.

For the amount of power he will be running, a $2k clutch isn't necessarily needed. Are you getting it installed at Forged Performance? If so just pick up an Innovate Wideband(very much neccessary IMO and on sale at Forged) and a boost gauge. Those two should be plenty sufficient. Glad you did your research and are getting the exhaust as well.. GL

go with the defi gauges because they are sexy and yes you will need the control unit to go with them.

no you dont need a electric boost controller if you are running the unichip

Hey man, got your PM... been busy! Go with Defi. I haven't looked at Defi in awhile, but they did release the new stand alone gauges (that replaced the D Series) a few months ago... problem is that they were with Blue LED's.... might want to see if they released any other versions with a better color match for the Z. I have the saga gauges (stand alone). They arent bad, only had one issue with my oil pressure, which I got replaced for free. Innovate without a doubt. JWT or spec clutch; jwt/fidenza (sp)? flywheel. Or just the clutch and you can resurface the flywheel. Keep in mind, if you are aiming for higher tq down the road (>500+), then go with something else.

one word: tuning. Also, don't forget to pick up the APS external wastegate available in feb-march. That should help resolve any possible boost issues if you do experience that.
