I mixed some 550cc injectors with other sets. I can't tell visually which is which. is there a way to know their size by just looking at them?

to make life easier, can someone tell me what injectors are those...

 

 

Are there any numbers engraved on the housings?

 

there are two numbers "060" and "487"

 

What brand are they?

 

they are supposed to be RC 550cc injectors that I bought from a forum member.

 

gunna have to really inspect the housing for the numbers, then try to track it down. hard to tell many other ways. if it comes down to it, you can take one of each and get them flow tested for not much $

 

those are not RC injectors in the picture, i know that much. unless they have some new model that i havent seen.

 

The black ones with the blue tops were installed in my car by AAM as RC injectors I have it on the invoice here (550cc). I then sold them to the OP and shipped them to a well respected Vendor/Shop on the boards to ship to the OP with other parts, I surely hope they are indeed RC 550cc injectors because if they arent I was lied to and in turn re-sold these improperly. OP-I am an honest guy and a well known member, if you find these not to be correct please PM me, I will resolve this with you.

the injectors in the box above are the ones I bought from you. I just did a quick search and here's how the RC 550cc look like, they totally look different!

in each box ull found one or 2 .

it doesnt matter which turbo kit I have. I bought the injectors seperatly from Alberto which I assumed to be RC 550's. if you compare both the ones I got from Alberto



with this RC 550



they dont look the same. I'm not sure if RC makes two different styles of injectors!

 

The injectors in the box look like aps injectors from the stock kit. I wonder if AAM sold him Deutsch (sp) that were remanufactured to 550cc without him knowing.

 

IIRC the APS 440s that come with the APS kit are black Bosch injectors like that - but they have all identifiying part numbers shaved or otherwise removed from them if I recall.

Those aren't RCs - those are Bosch injectors. They could be the APS injectors, Deatschwerks.com injectors (what I have) etc, etc, etc.

 

I PM'd the OP. Im very upset that I was obviously lied to by AAM. Can anybody identify what size they are? I guess they were 440cc injectors as opposed to the 550cc injectors I wanted and was told I had in my car?

 

Damnnnn. Another AAM "Mistake".

 

Me letting them touch my car was the first time anybody had touched the Z besides me, figures something like this would go down. So are these APS/Bosch 440's or can they be Deastchworks 550cc? Now I just want to know in case the OP would like a full refund and so I can re-sell them properly this time.
