Very nice car Chris, I have always been a fan of the way your Z looks. The performance looks great as well! My car should be done this week with the stock block mods. Built motor should be in by end of feb early march. But for now it seems like we have a similar set up. Can't wait to compare Dynos!

Are you serious??
He has less TQ because that was the way he was tuned, not because of the pipes. On a stock block, the exhaust will mean very little in terms of peak HP or TQ when it comes to a TT setup. Your tuner will be the one that determines how much power your car gets on a setup like Chris has

+1, my car's tq was 20 higher than the horsepower, with the exact same kit and exhaust setup. All in the tune.

so you are saying that exhaust size and back pressure has no direct relation to how much less or more TQ a motor will make?

It does, but in this situation it has nothing to do with the amount of HP or TQ chris made. If chris went in with the 2.5", his tuner would have tuned him to the same HP and TQ. His exhaust had no impact on the amount of power he puts down.

Nice job Chris... Wish I could have stuck around, but it was a long hot day Sunday.

Congrats on the consistent #'s and good luck with your 'new' plans.

Yea got there after 1 and stayed til around 5. I was surprised to see as many people as I did, but it was good. The M3's were interesting and I would have swore that AMG was faster then that, but I guess the boost leak he had accounts for some of the difference.

Yea that m3 put down some nice numbers on spray. I also thought that E55 would have been quicker, then again hes auto so you have to put the drivetrain loss into account.
