Just so I'm have a clear understanding of the FCON, will the VDC and cruise control continue to function? Just heard tuners have had problems with both on the FCON. Are there any other issues that haven't been sorted out yet?
Traction control and cruise control are fully functional on the newer versions of the FCON...no issues so far.
Great to hear you making some $$$
Well, I wouldnt go that far just yet. We are still in the growth and expansion phase, so every penny goes back into the business. I havent even paid myself yet!!
It's probably in the range of 4k more than the utec. Fcon works great but it's expensive insurance.
It's actually not that bad. The complete FCON hardware package with all the trimmings, is about $3500, and a few hours for install and tuning.

Thanks for the kind words. We have more exciting updates coming shortly.

Excellent Sharif. You really run a 1st class operation and I'm very satisfied with everything. You're one step closer to that "picture" we discussed at dinner.

First, we want to thank everyone for making our first year at our new location, a great success. As we closed out 2006, we wanted to extend our best wishes, to all of our customers, and the operators and moderators of my350z.com. A large portion of our business comes from this website, and the positive word of mouth that it has generated.

We have some big expansion plans scheduled for 2007, including the acquisition of a Dyno Dynamics All-Wheel-Drive upgrade to our current Dyno Dynamics 2WD setup. Yes, we are getting ready for the GT-R, but also expanding into the Mitsubishi Evo, and Suburu marketplace.

Because of the high level of confidence we have in our engine assembly, forced induction, and tuning strategies, we have decided to offer a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty on our engine build projects. Details of this warranty will be communicated to each customer in writing. But here are the highlights.

The warranty covers the complete engine only: crankshaft, rods, pistons, bearings, heads, and all components of the long block. The warranty covers parts AND labor. All of the engine sub-systems including clutch, flywheel, fuel injectors, sensors, and axles, are not covered. This warranty only applies, if the HKS FCON stand-alone engine management system is used, and the customer follows our proven recipe for success. The FCON allows for very fine engine calibration, and eliminates the possibility of engine damaging over-boost, or unauthorized interference with the program. Proper fueling, engine management, tuning, and parts selection are critical to a successful project.

We want our customers to feel 100% confident in our forced induction/built engine projects, and this is our way of putting our money where our mouth is.

We have current openings available on our shop schedule for Jan and Feb, so please call us for an appointment, or to discuss your project.
It is awesome when someone has confidence in his workmanship and stands by it.

Way to go Sharif

G

Sharif - Oh, sure - NOW U come up with these great deals & packages plus back it w/a solid warranty!! Man, why were ya still up north when I started my failed "project"?! I've been pushing Mike ( the (hopefully) new owner of my G ) to go ONLY to U not only for the FCON but also to complete all the work that I've been waiting 10+ months to have done. Sharif, if U'd had your new shop open when I started this cluster-f*** I have NO doubts that I'd be rollin' in a 700 rwhp ride right now.
Might be doing the 'Vette thing unless Mike backs out on the sale. If so, I'll contact U to have your transporter come get my G from you-know-who's "shop" & turn ya loose!!
Best of luck & continued success in your business. Nice to see all your hard work pay off, my friend!!

Gene

blast from the past.

Sharif do you still offer this 1yr/unlimited mile warranty for the built+tuned motors? I found no reflection of it on your website and was just curious if any VQ tuner warranties their packages?
