Its improved 100%. If you notice with the TN reflash it drops dramatically around 5k and then jumps back. Now its smooth and responsive. Although its not the high #'s I had hoped for. Its safe and a lot of fun to drive.

When you say uprev flash, is it a ecu reflash or is this a utec tuned car.

As far as what people rev limit is set to, I dont think that matters. If I remeber correctly, Berts was set to around 7100 rpm, but that was the problem. In non rev-ups the amount of stress after 6k rpm increases greatly and has shown to break down a few cars quickly. If you were to ask many F/I people who have had their kits on their car for a long time, most have a stock rev limit in place. Taurran has had his kit for a while now, and he uses a stock rev limit along with a few others. Its just a good precautionary measure.

7100rpms. I only revved it there in 1st and to go through the traps at 115/116mph in 4th gear. I really think it caused me my motor and I didnt do it that often.

Inertial loads dont juust increase for non revups, that goes for all VQ's. Sharif has a TT Revup doing over 460whp (stock block) on his low reading dyno, and so far no issues, he also advised him not to shift past 6500rpm's, even at the track. I know the owner runs it hard and has been tracking a lot lately and so far no issues. Dont take the chance!!!

Default uprev reflash

I just got my ecu back freshly tuned from UpRev. So far i love it i got the map switching option and love that feature. and the best part is i got it all done in three days pretty fast and not too much downtime. i sent it on monday and got it back wednesday. ad uninstall and install takes about 10 mins or less if you know what you are doing. I like the new rev limit (7100) that was the first thing i tried and i hit the 7100 limiter. But overall i reccomend this upgrade. And Matt at uprev is a really nice guy and responds to emails really fast.
