The 06 steering rack is different. The new steering rack interferes with the downpipe on the Turbonetics kit and other kits as well..

You could always buy an older version steering rack. But I don't know what they run. I think but not sure but also with an 06 you have to get another kind of charge pipe. Would anybody like to shine in on the charge pipe situation?

Charge pipe is no issue. Its just the downpipe...

What kits are an issue with the 06. I heard the JWT kit fits fine with a couple adjustments but I don't know what that means.

I believe the APS kit needs to have a modification done to the engine mounts to fit (westpak posted something to that affect). I don't know if Greddy does. SFR has never been tested to my knowledge either.... any kit with the turbine housing or downpipe that close to the steering rack is going to have an issue...

I am only interested in the APS, GREDDY and JWT. All the rest are just noise to me from what I have read. Sounds like two of my three are going to require a rework of some sort. Maybe they will get it sorted in the next 12 monts.

Price should be the same for the Stage 1 kit regardless of year. Unless they have to add or change components for the 06..

Correct, we had a customer with the 06 buy the 05 kit and is up and boosting 375 WHP... Small tweaks on the downpipe, everything else fit.

how small is small? will it be a big roadblock when it comes time to installing the kit?
