Yes the EVO2 is too much restrictive for FI setup, the piping is 2.25" if I'm not mistaken. since you already have APS TP (2.5" ?), I suggest the APS 3" exhaust. zero backpressure and loud especially when combined with the 3.5" TPs.

I dont know if i would worry about the exhaust. I made 573rwhp at 14 psi thru the borla which is dual 2.25" - while i did changed several things at once, i didnt appear to gain anything out of a dual 3" at the same boost.

If I remember one of the mods was running APS TT on the Nismo Exhaust as well . . . . . . . .
It will "work" but it won't be efficient. I suggest getting the APS 3" or GReddy EVO TT.
