Top horse power on turbonetics single..
As you may have noticed, you're not going to get much help with a question like this. Unfortunately, there's not a thread like this for each kit, but there have been a few threads on HP/TQ #'s with various setups. Search, read, get frustrated, then repeat. It's a vicious cycle...

Highest that I have seen was Jetpilots TN Z. Around 460whp on a "low" reading Dyno, Id say he would be 480whp easy on a DJ, with over 500ft/lbs. Of course there is more than just peak numbers, the curve sucked huge donkey d!ck, with power peaking at 5800rpm's and TQ falling on its face up top. Horrible powerband, but in all fairness to TN, the kit wasnt designed with big power in mind, it is only IMO good for stock block set-ups....

I think I remember watching one of ur vids with ur TN setup. You ran low 12s I think!? So would you guys say that a built motor and TN dont really go together? In other words would it be a waste to build ur engine if you plan on going with TN?

What if you are only looking for 400-450whp and you dont wanna be worried about blowing up? Lets face it TN is almost couple grand cheaper than TT and the installation is easier (cheaper) and you can get away without exhaust system upgrade. What do you guys think?
PS: Alberto, I cant wait to see ur new 1/4 times. How long did you have the TN on for? and also would you honestly recommend it to someone that uses the Z as a DD and is only looking for decent power on street.
I only recommend ANY type of FI to people who have $10K ready to rebuild, any kit even with a great tune can result in a failed motor. Trust me when I tell you, you dont want to spend $$$ on a built motor and run a TN kit, you will want more I guarantee it. Daily driver or not, supporting mods or not it can happen. My Z wasnt a DD @ the time of my TN kit, only had it for 3000 miles and the motor gave up, if your not ready to face this fact dont step into the FI world. Good luck deciding...
