Flame on! Electric Supercharger part 2!
According to that web site they tried it on a 1994 Honda B16A2.
Stock that car was rated at 160 hp.
According to their dyno, it added about 70 more horsepower.
Ask them if they will guarantee 70 more hp.

Just tried it. I now have an audience at my cubical. Any other bright ideas? lmao.
Personally, the electric SC is a ideal concept; it will, however, take sometime before a truly efficient blower/motor will emerge......electrically powered transport have been revolutionized, as in the bullet train in Japan........it is amazing what can be done with magnets in the 21st century. I see lots of potential & promise of atomic precision with nanotechnology, superconductors & magnet.
An interesting tidbit, magnets are undergoing experiments, as the future power systems to power space crafts into space. And, presently being considered for alternate power for missiles by US Defence.

I remember CPR put a leaf blower on a 4.3L Blazer, and a Civic and dyno'd the results on video, up to 50whp from a leaf blower right into the intake tube! I doubt this would be worth the trouble to make power though, this is pretty ridiculous.

"Why would anyone spend the time and thousands of dollars on a traditional supercharger when your product does the same thing?"
1 psi is easy unfortunately as you try to increase pressure the drive power quadruples..............1psi~1HP[746 watts] .......2psi~4 HP[3000 watts].
Most radial superchargers are pretty efficient [except for drive belt losses/slips] and can create 6-7 psi for ~~ <20 HP input.
If all one needs is a single psi.
Lots of difference between supplying enough air for a 1.6 liter engine and the amount to fill a 3.5liter this is where people get dissappointed not considering this 2.2x factor...........

Hmmm.. Does anyone know the flow rate a VQ needs @ WOT? Thats an important piece of information to this thread. If its higher than 860, the hair dryer you're strapping on won't produce the positive manifold pressure you're looking for.
But lets say its an Ideal world, and you truly get 1.256 psi of positive manifold pressure @ WOT. Thats only an 8.5 % improvement over stock. So you're not going to be looking at big gains anyway. (at least not the 15-20 % they claim on thier website.) Plus, the losses at the alternator will ruduce any "gains" this thing gets you.

Ok, so If I can find a place that will give me a good deal on a dyno, before and after, I will be the guinea pig. I will also take a video so you all can laugh.

BUT, I was thinking of trying this out. It has a lifetime satisfaction gurarantee. Also its very cheap. Also you can return it for your money back.
I'll be a guini pig if you all think I should try it.

I emailed them and this is what they told me.
Hi Richard,
We do have a supercharger and performance chip to fit the 350z and it
is in stock.
Our superchargers work on highly advanced technology new to the
industry. It works by compressing air using a centrifugal turbine. The
results are more horsepower and torque for minimal price.
Extraneous sources have tested our units in lab, and have reported
information as follows:
Air Pressure : 1.256 PSI
Air Flow : 856 CFM
Power Consumption : 765 Watts
Spooling Rate : 27500 RPM
Size : 4"x4"x4"
Customer reports have shown that vehicle has given 33-34 HP and 22-23
FT/LBS gains on average when using our supercharger and performance
chip.
They have been designed to do the very efficiently.
We offer a lifetime satisfaction guarantee on all of our products here
at North End Tuning. No harm will ever been done to your engine by
installing our products. If you ever have a problem with our products,
you can just send them back for a refund.
Our supercharger is such a great value because we have state of the art
technology here at North End Tuning. We offer a fair value to our
customers.
We have been in business longer than any other in industry, and our
products give the maximum power gains possible using the technology
provided.
If you still have any questions about our products please let's know.
