so today i opened the ECU that comes with the S/C kit,


i took the cover off, looks like can be connected to a laptop maybe...


i found this switch, set like this,"1" "3"and"8" down, and the rests up


look from the top

so what is this switch for, any functions can be discovered?


here's what the ECU looks like


what's the relationship between this one and the HKS F-CON?


is this ECU can be tuned? adjustable with software?
what kind of function it has?

does anyone know this?

The ecu is locked but can be unlocked by a HKS Pro Dealer when wiped and then they can tune it for you.

The FCON SZ is a piggy back computer that is mainly for fuel and timing

 

It can only be tuned by a HKS Pro Dealer.

The plug in... that looks like a phone jack is for the HKS Navigator, the SZ is set to run with stock exhaust, stock thermostat etc, if you change anything from the stock engine configuration you will need to get it tuned. I changed my exhaust, I did away with the extra injectors that the HKS kit comes with and put 440cc in for more precise fuel control, also added cams and a plenum spacer. If you have anymore questions about the HKS holler I might can help.

 

yes the car has stillen exhaust and AAM plenum spacer, so i may want to tune the ECU
and an oil catch tank... but will not affect
