I think the only way I'll break in the 11's would be to get an extra set of wheels and put some et streets on them. After the lsd I'm heading out for some runs. Any supercharger get in the 11's yet?

If this doesnt happen (i.e make a date for everyone to participate on).
We can set a date no later than time. To submit all you current time slips from your local race track. A time frame of maybe 3 months. Break it down in Hp clases, street legal, strait up race cars. This way everyone get to Participate. However let's try to make this happen this summer. Maybe we can get driffrent shop cars from all over the world to participate. Many things will be considerd (track car verses drag cars).
Imput your suggestion and comments. Rent and airfield for a day or weekend and do run's from diffrent speeds ect...

I'd definitely be interested in attending, but I'd prefer the fall when it's cooler.

I was thinking the same thing. It is relativly inexpensive to rent, and its a tight little track, which means that NA cars can easily lap FI cars....its mostly driver skill and car setup at that track.

For what it's worth, I think road courses make for a more interesting event, rather than a pure drag event. I know some people will disagree, but driving hard for 20-30mins with fellow Z's and G's, is more fun that a grudge match down the 1/4 mile for 10-13 seconds at a time.

I'll see what I can cook up.

Blah, call me a puss if you want but I fear putting my car into a wall at a road course. If I get out on a RC and drive anything like I do down 1320 feet Im and trouble and likely breaking my car....

I know you can get additional insurance but thats just a PITA-with as much $$$ as I have in the car now, Im 110% satisfied just driving it on the street and occasionally ruining someone's day--->thats why no more drag racing for me for a while

edit-Forged has ruined me!! j/k Sharif Im loving every second of my set-up...

No fear...the track we select will be very friendly when it comes to runoff. And your brain/self-preservation instinct will kick in...well before your rear end kicks out.

At most local tracks, there is usually just one turn on the track, that puts your car in physical danger. The rest of the turns have pretty open run-off areas. As long as you arent afraid of a little sand, dust, and gravel...haha.

hehe..for what its worth...can count on one hand...the number of people that have seriously physically damaged their cars at the track. It really is a rare occurance. Spins are more common....and 95% of the time...no damage at all. Of course, the goal is NOT to spin.
