Default Which is Better??

I have recently been looking into both superchargers and Turbos. I was wondering what everyone thought about both of them? Which one would everyone prefer? Im trying to make this decision, and wanted a little aid. Anyones input would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Let me just tell you what anyone else would tell you in many inflammatory ways... Use the "SEARCH" engine, it will be a pain because of the infinite amount of threads you need to go thru but I am sure you will find the information. The question you are asking is rather broad, you need to narrow it down. Turbo- single or twins? Supercharger- roots style or centrifugal? There are quite a few companies that produce FI kits for the Z. If you want to build your motor and want crazy amounts of power, you are pretty much going to go turbo- there are plenty of guys here with over 500WHP with turbo setups. If you want something more reliable for everyday driving and prolonged engine life, look into the Stillen supercharger kit. There's also vortech and procharger- both centrifugal and make a lot of power. So hopefully answered atleast one of your questions. Regardless, be prepared to spend a lot of money and expect things to break... thats the truth with the Z or any other car if you are going FI. With that said, good luck with your search.

I normally think the search ****'s are a bit ridiculous, but on this one i will have to agree that you can easily search and get the pro's and con's for both setups as this type of thread is started dailey .

Are you that guy who walks into the Home Depot and immediately goes to customer service to ask where the screw drivers are, or do you walk around until you find them, getting familiar with the rest of the store in the process? My guess is you're the former.

Crap, got beat out on the "R". Read the FI forum's current and historical threads for about 2 weeks. Search by brand name of FI product. It will all eventually come clear.

Hey, I am in the same boat as you. I am trying to decide between going TT or SC. Just reading through the stickies and the threads on the first page will give you more than enough info.
