what are you additional mods? you'll need some cams and some phat exhaust pipings, for starters. what size are your injectors? what boost are you running at? need more info.

Please talk to Sam about it . . . . that man knows so much he could help you out alot more than us giving you one different opinion per post.

My thoughts?

APS Extreme TT, or the SFR kit.

Maybe do a GTM 4.2L Stroker Kit.

Are you really cool with spending that much money for a car with THAT much power? LOL.

Ya, close to six figures to get that much power.

Since APS Extreme has already been done, I vote for custom twin GT35R setup.

Ask Sharif@Forged about the stroker / 20g GReddy setup. He's working on BamBam's car now and should have a high power tune / dyno to gauge your potentials off of. You're not running the 4.2L, but it's at least a point of measure from the turbo / ems / 20g...

i have 1000cc injectors. and im just trying to see if i can to that hp with just a built engine and a rebuilt head i am going to do the cosworth head and either the jwt cams or gt motorsports cams. i ran 450 at about 15psi. i dont mind changing the turbo kit out if i have to.. i really wouldnt want to change my block but if i eventually have to i will sell mine and work on my other block i really wouldnt want to though..

Can i ask why you would want that much power? If you are going for a dyno queen then thats fine, but there are ALOT of other things that go along with that much power!

I'd keep the stock stroke and bore personally. Sleeve it, have headgames take care of my heads, see when IOS will release thier twin turbo kit, and rev the **** of it for kicks...

Pushing the 20G upgraded Greddy kit on Sharif's car he did 650whp on his heartbreaker dyno. That would be about 720-740whp on a DJ. For 750-800whp you need another kit, or some fabrication and other snails. Good luck.

Op you're still not posting all your mods. are you sure you're even running a safe setup, currently? 15 psi is a lot, considering you're only pushing 450. No pictures,no dyno, no info, hmm.. smelling a bit fishy.. show us some credibility here and we can help a great deal.

GT Motorsports Built Bottom end with Sleeves 8.5:1 comp. stock stroke and bore 3.5l
Stock Heads... didnt have the budget at the time
1000cc injectors
PTP Fuel System
Greddy Twin Turbo Kit
HKS Hi-Power Exhaust
HKS F-Con
running 15psi made 450rwhp

My shop suggested the Extreme APS kit and Cosworth or GT Motorsports Heads. I just want to get some opinions from some other people who might have experience with certain products.

Thanks for the help... let me know if you need any more info

What is the PTP fuel system? I know they make a fuel tap, not a complete fuel system. Who tuned your car? 15psi even with your stock heads is way high a boost for only 450whp. It would be nice to see a dyno graph of that w/air/fuel/. BTW-your def going to need to address the heads for these high power goals (as you already know), likely another fuel system other than the APS extreme. Try hooking up with 550whp first then decide if you really ant 800whp. I can tell you and Im no newb driver, handling/hooking up 580whp on the street is straight scary sometimes...power you can put down > dyno #'s!

also add a widebody kit and 12 inch rims if you want any hope of driving that thing on the street, get some realistic goals.

i think with the amount of 800 - 1000 whp supra's running around.. people get carried away and forget that the Z is 3200 lbs and the supra is 3600 lbs.. that and most of those power curves .. the power comes on so late.. it helps with traction..

driving a 800 whp 3200lb Z with power starting at 4000 rpms is not even close to driving a 1000 whp 3600 lb Supra with power starting at 5500 rpms..

then again this is pure speculation as i have never driven either car

doesn't the greddy turbo kit come with two 20G turbo's from the evo? I do beleive so.....

Get a bigger exhaust. The HKS which is a wonderful system is only 60mm wide. Go for the AAM dual 3", upgraded heads, SSV, fuel system upgrade, etc. and get a good tune since you have pretty much everything you need at this point.
