A buddy of mine works at a motorsports shop in the nearby town and has told me he can get a "Turbonetics TT FULL KIT" for 4000 bucks or a Hypertech SC Full Kit for 3500... Now I wanna go SC cuz of stock intestines but *any words of advice or caution would be appreciated...especially concerning the turbonetics TT he sez he can order... and also about the hypertech SC which he sez can tune up to 500hp, all good if it is a worthy upgrade but i dont really know

sure they do, im about to enjoy my new vortex supercharger soon. i heard that gretty single turbos are sweet and that ati prechargers are decent.

i didn't think those "kits" were real and i was very suspicious over the hypertech sc SOOOOO what i do know is the Turbonetics ST is something his shop can order for under a grand (and it exists obviously)

what about that huh, worth it? the same shop is putting a TT on a mustang gt this week

 

if he is really from Mojave then English is a second language

 

I'd definitely stick to SC if you still have stock intestines. The blinding speed from the TT kit might cause an unplanned blowout.

Single turbo kit for under a grand? Maybe the "company" that was selling an 85$ ECU mod (aka some resistor crap) is selling him the turbo...
How about you buy me 50$ worth of booze in where you're at and I'll pay for shipment of the liquor. If "under a grand" gets you a TN ST at the Mojave, then the 50$ would keep you drunk till New Years...
