From my research, it's a good build. Good room for growth

What size pulley ?. Walbro and 440 may not get the A/F necessary to be safe. A fuel return may be required...

why do people keep saying that?
440cc/walbro should be plenty. The same setup is used for a tn kit and works fine.

you should be fine for a out of the box kit/tune. now if you have power goals of 500whp then thats another story.

There is no out of box tune on the tuner like the full kit w/ the S.S box...Added safety and reliability. Also depends on what pulley/power level he wants...

its best setup for vortech but I would also add AAM fuel return and the 3.12 pully so you can reach the 400WHP mark possibly

thats what im saying. it depends on the power level desired.

By out of the box tune, i meant a tune on his fuel management whether it be a emanage, fcon or utec. In his case, a utec.

from his shopping list itll be a 3.33 pulley which will not max out the injectors.

I would go with a little bigger Inj. since your other parts are pretty much good for bigger power. Audible Mayhem has been using 6500cc with 3.12 pulley.

the 440's are fine for your setup.

As for 400rwhp and a return system to hit it. NO!

I've made 395 with the 3.12 pulley, stock injectors, no return system, walbro pump, ss box, fmu and aux pump.

A fuel return is definitely not necessary. I am running 550cc injectors with the Walbro, HKS FCon IS and the 2.87 pulley and I am getting more than enough fuel. Sam @ GTM actually told me that I am getting enough fuel for 500whp, not that I am ever going to get to that level. The only reason I didn't hit 400whp is because of my stock cats. Not to mention that he tuned it very conservatively for daily driving. HFC's, some race gas and a more aggressive tune and I am easily over 400whp. To the OP, that setup will work just fine.

it's a sp. There isn't a ton of room for growth. It does look like a good easy build though. Good luck!!! Post pics and vids when done!!!

you really don't need 550cc injectors at all with the stock 3.33 pulley

overly large injectors and a walbro pump on the stock returnless fuel lines seems to be the way to go . There has been some big power with TT kits with this set up already done .
Go with what Dave ask's you to do . You will not be satisfied long with the stock pulley and will wnat more . The bigger injectors with insure more power.

+1!

If you decide to go with the 3.12 or 2.87 pulleys later, you won't have to worry about it because you will already have the injectors and walbro in place. All you will need then is a good tune.
