I remember reading something about a:

"NISMO/Garrett turbo "

Any substance to this? Or somoene talking out of their ***?

Well if that is all you know it is not much to go on.... could be a modified T25 or a super 60, hell even a T78... regardless the maunfacturer is not enough info at all.

I talked with Garrett at SEMA IAS, they were working on a G35 turbo setup, but couldn't make their schedule meet nissans. Its currently on the shelf, awaiting funding. They said the goal was 400hp, since nissan was going to have 350hp next year. (dont know what they were referring to there, possibly the GT-R)

I think you might be talking about the technology which Nissan supposedly bought exclusive rights to. It has something to do with a standard turbocharger that has an electric motor to help it spool up for near instantaneous boost. I read this like 2 years ago so don't hold me to it.

Supposed to be soemthing used in the new Skyline FWIW.
