Thanks Booger... Yeah you must have been posting that as I was writing it at the same time... I just saw your response... thanks... So when it closes sooner would it have more time to create more boost, holding in more PSI until it opens again when you let off throttle?

I'll get that new belt put on next week... I'll have my shop do that one... I frickn hate struggln with that belt that is a pain and I like the skin on my hands...

Any ideas where I can find this extra pulley? I would like to add it to the stock belt set up for more grip on the SC pulley.

Thanks!

If you tighten the adjustment bolt down . The BOV closes sooner and you will get a better throttle response and get boost a little sooner ,but total boost will be the same . Boost is still related to rpms

part # GTM-VR2060
cost is $106.04

Sam at GTM...he is the one selling them . But you maybe able to buy one from Vortech . Or buy an idler pulley like Moog did and install it . Moog bought an idler pulley that looks like it would work . He got it at a parts store for $19 . He has a thread about it

Yeah I saw that... I just want the pully tho as I like the NAPA / Gates belt over the belt they are shipping with the pulley.

Didn't DynoComp add a pulley at that same point for you Sentry?

Or you could do a little searching and see if you can find Bearing company in your area . I bet that exact pulley can be had if you look in the right place .

I guess in that spot it really does not matter the Dia of the pulley as long as it is a smooth non ribbed pulley since it is just for tension on the belt...

Just needs to be the right depth actually.

yeah dynocomp (jon) added a pulley to my car under the jackshaft, but it doesn't wrap nearly as much belt to the jackshaft pulley as the other one.

yeah I'd rather use a GATES belt as well. I wonder though if GTM would sell you just the pulley and tell you the length of the belt they normally ship.

There probably is a pulley out there just like it. I wasn't sure if it was some weird size that they machined in house or if it's just an off the shelf pulley

And then just need a slightly longer NAPA belt by about 1 to 1.5"

If you are going to a smaller pulley and this new idler Pulley . The stock length serp belt may work .

Talk to Jeremy at Performance Factory about the injectors and walbro . He has done it safely . I know you have to go much larger on the injectors

Cool, thanks man...

I put everything back together and took her out for a spin... still only got 5.7 psi on the 3.12.... I will get my belt switched out this week to see if that is the culprit...

Has anyone run the Riechard racing pulley with success that you are aware of? I have a 2.8 pulley from them but I heard there were issues with it fitting so I never attempted to get it installed... When I have it apart puttn the 2.87 on I think I am gonna try to get that on there 1st and see whats up.

No... havent tried that yet.... I think I am almost maxed out on the tensioners tho... The belt feels real tight to the touch....

are the tensioners reversed threads? righty loosey / lefty tighty? I only messed with them once about 30K miles ago... lol..

thnx
