Why don't more high hp guys go with an upgraded plenum or at least a spacer? After spending tens of thousands on parts and labor, why not another few hundred for a better plenum?

I believe the argument is that under high boost it won't make a difference unless you run an entirely new exhaust manifold.

I say it can't hurt though. We're planning on trying a before/after with a 5/16" spacer on my car.

Ill forgive you, if you give me a ride.

Im just playin, The car looked great tho, I could hear it had something done to it when you left the light, It was at 301 and Causeway. You were going towards bloomingdale, I was making a left onto Lumsden, Its sort of hard to miss a silver z on big wheels, and you looked directly at it, well I thought.

Car looks good tho, and I bet its a blast. Audible, I will be out there soon, just saving some money.

i have dynoed the plenum spacers on boosted motors and have found zero difference on them.

we are going to dyno craigs with and without them because he "thinks" it will make power, i have to show him... hehehe

Wow!!!! What differece the HKS FCon Vpro makes on driveability of my Z.
The car idles better and is much smoother through the power band. The new twin air filters and bov are nice improvements on the JWT BB700 tuner kit and seemed to add about 15hp.

The car is just a blast to drive.

I,m sure you'll figure out something we can do to make it even more refined and faster, but it is so freaken fast right now that I can't imagine where this car will be when jeremy and I are finally finished.

Yup, I've seen plenty of the car, but never seen it run. I did see it shoot some huge flames out of the exhaust though... haha. It was pretty awesome.

Oh, and about the spacer. I'm not sure if it'll make power on higher boost or not. I still swear I saw a gain on my stock block setup. It's a win win situation though. If it works then great, if not I'll sell it for a little extra change.

Great job jeremy, very nice tune. Hopefully I will see similar numbers with my JWT BB700 & FCon setup.

Jeremy - I've been searching and cant find the turbo size of of the BB700's? I know the 850's are GT30's but can you please tell me what size turbos the BB700's are?

Also, you guys made 571 on the high boost 93 octance tune. In your opinion, what do you think the hp difference would be with your same tune on 91 octance(crappy Cali gas)?

Thanks.

i am pretty sure they are GT28RS if i remember correctly. they might be GT28Rs... either way, thats about the size they are. they spool up faster than the greddys, provide a little less power than the greddys but are ROCK solid under boost.

very smooth powerful setup for sure...

on 91 octane on a dynojet, you will see a lot lower numbers, i would say 500-520s. it will still haul A$$ , his low boost setting is down right FAST!!

Congrats and great work guys.

JT, glad to see you're liking the FCON VPro now. It's great to have you as a local tuner.
