the 4.083 gears are not going in though. I sold it to aceman cuz he needs a set of gears urgently. Had to reorder another set, if they come in then thats a big plus. the 07 will be at the track running. Only mods itll have is test pipes back (fast intentions) and intakes.

Just got to my comp-what a thread

I look forward to racing with Julian and meeting some of the NJ crew. I'll only say one thing-lets compare apples to apples. Im bringing a full interior 6MT street car to the track (3280lbs without my 200lbs in it)-I know Julian paid for 2 spots, I assume one wil lbe for his shop/drag car-which I expect to be auto of some sort, gutted, caged, nitrous, the whole nine yards, and the other I hope is his personal street car...

Before everybody gets excited, obviously the drag car vs my street car wouldnt be close, at least Id hope it wouldnt. So Julian-I know you have a few issues with the street car (up to you if you post about) but I hope you bring that down to race ME. It wouldnt be fun to see a shop/drag car beat a guy in a street car would it? LOL-Im sure some of you would think so, regardless this wil be a blast, and it will be nice to put a face to a screen name.

BTW-for the guy asking if I had drag raced my new set-up. I have NOT since that video I posted. My one and only run in this car ended the second I hit 3rd gear at Mason Dixon months back. I havent gone back since...

Actually Im bringing my personal car, which is a 3400lb *****...Without my 280lbs in it. I may or may not be running an uto in it by then, but I can tell you my 5th gear in it now will not even engage at all...So I would hate to drive 250+miles to break a crappy Nissan tranny on the first run. My car will be a full interior,well 3/4 interior street driven,registered and isnured complete with cupholder, fat *****..
We shall see what transpires..Lat time I ran it I went 11.7at 125

Its all good, just letting people know, it may not be a "fair" comparison, but nobody can deny it will be fun to see.

For your 11.7 @ 125-how much boost/power was that with? After messing with 3 Forged cars I have an idea of what I would run, but you know how that goes, only one way to find out. My goal isnt to run 10's, I feel that is too easy, my goal is to run 10's on low boost with less than 500whp on a DD

if your trapping over 125, that should be 10 second times with good 60fts and maniac shifting..

We shall see...other than a houdini 5th gear on occasion, I havent had tranny problems since that track day now that Im being "nice" to it...my new set-up should allow at least 131mph in 4th gear, so that is good for anything I'll be doing with 490whp.
