thinking about going FI and have decided if i do to go with a procharger sc. ive asked around a few shops, ultimatez, altered, etc...and this is what each shop recommended:

1. C-2 Procharger complete kit
2. Larger Injectors
3. ECU relfash(to correct fuel map because of larger inj. and correct timing issues), OR some sort of EMS

My question is, can i get away without larger injectors for the stock 7psi that this kit comes dialed in at?

from many threads and faq's, the biggest safety issue is when people go FI without changin timings maps?

if i dont change the injectors, will the ecu reflash compensate and make the stock injectors work harder?

As far as the Procharger kit itself, i am planning to buy it used. A local vendor has a used kit that they pulled off an 04, and they are selling the complete kit+420 injectors for 3800? is that a good deal? i just saw a procharger thread in the classifieds for 2700, but without injectors ofcourse..so IMO $3800 seems a bit high...

 

i just finish installing the procharger on my 03 G35 auto sedan. the whole car is stock except for the coupe mid pipe, and custom greddy straight flow exhaust. boost psi is about 5 max, and i'm only using the procharger supplied fuel pump and the electronic fmu. so far, so good haven't done any dyno or tuning except for setting the efmu more to the rich side for now. waiting for the a/f gauge kit to come in the mail. i also bought this kit used locally for $3300 with greddy emange ultimate with harness, rc 440 injectors with clips, and walbro fuel pump but still haven't use those yet.

 

i dont recall bein any procharger kit for our 06s. only vortechs and tts kit fit. VTR in NY has done a couple of 06s manual tranny.
