5AT Vortech & UTEC owners

What do you have your rev limiter set to? Is it a moot point to raise the rev limiter if the transmission control is going to shift at 6500rpm anyways?

I have mine flashed for 7,200rpm . If Im getting on the car , I normally have it in manual mode to be able to shift when I want . Ive never really paid attention at what rpm it shifts in auto

no point in raising it imho, if you look at your dyno you should a big drop off just before redline.

some autos it will raise up with the utec and some autos it wont. i would ask coach k what his is at, he seems to have it figured out pretty well...

Are you talking about in full auto or manual mode? Mines set at 7200 and in auto mode it blows right by 6500. I just took it out on a back street and tested it and not even at wot.
