there was a special on the LFR6A-11 plugs at boats.net. I think they had them fro $4.26 per plug! ...with cheap shipping too.

It looks like the price has gone back up though.

when your plugs are retaining so much heat that the plug is igniting the air:fuel mixture before the plug even fires.

i dont understand why you guys cant just get them from your local advanced auto parts, pep boys, autozona. I got my coppers from Advanced for like 4$ each or so. The coulda had the iridiums in a day for ~9$. No shipping charge, no waiting.

I've gotten plugs from local vendors and places like sparkplugs.com before but typically I try to purchase from vendors that support the community I am a part of. Even if its a few bucks its worth it to keep them in business. I recently got some plugs for my Titan from one of the Titan Forum vendors even though it came out a couple bucks more. I've gotten plugs from Sharif for the same reason. A few bucks doesn't bother me when they are dishing out good advice for free every day on the forums.

not saying, not to support forum vendors. but if you are in a pinch, why would you wait on anything being shipped?

supporting local economy is good as well
