High FLow cats question??
my question is do you guys think that HF vs test pipes affect the engine temps? ie) by making it harder to release hot gases, therefore making the car run hotter compaired to running test pipes. or would this not have an effect at all?
at the upper echelons of power, all things being equal, I am sure it would - but there are many factors that go into "engine temp" (which itself is a very broad term) - fuel, timing, coolant mix, etc etc etc
The higher the boost level, the more important it is to run a completely un-restricted exhaust system (no cats).
What boost level are you talking about, and what exhaust system are you running?
