Need Help With ARC V2 Catch Can Install
A local shop installed the hoses incorrectly and now I have to fix them. I've searched numerous threads get more and more confusing everytime I read them. I wont drive my car until I have the hoses setup in the correct locations. I have the ARC V2 Catch Can(3 fittings/connections) and JWT TT kit.
Thanks for your help.

I should have included this my original question....Since I installed the catch can I have been getting white smoke, smells and looks like burning oil, coming out of the passenger side exhaust only(true dual, no X). It only starts to smoke at certain times and weather conditions, after revving past 3-4k, during colder weather temps or when i drive over 20-30 miles at a time. It never smokes at startup and my oil pressure hasn't changed since I built my motor(30psi at idle) 2 years ago.

hmmm. It is true the instructions are not very good and with a blower, some changes may need to be made. I'm sorry, but I don't have enough experience with F/I to help you out, but the burning oil smell and white smoke does not seem to be a good thing.
Maybe someone else can chime in with more experience? g/l--ur project car is badass!

switched to an HKS SSQV.
P-Side, PCV valve on the front of the valvecover--------->P-Side catch can fitting(1of2)
D-Side, Intake fitting on back of the valvecover--------->P-Side catch can fitting(2of2)
+
D-Side, (1)Catch can fitting---------->turbo intake pipe(pre-turbo)
...my head hurts...

The hose going from the driverside of the ARC can should not be going into the turbo pipe like that. The fitting it is going into now goes back to the turbo, this is normally where the recirc valve dumps the air. When you did the BOV this hole was plugged, it still needs to be plugged.
Is the BOV installed like this? https://my350z.com/forum/questionable-posts/257925-bov-for-the-jwt-tt-kit.html
If it is installed like that you can have a second port after the BOV welded on for the ARC or use this port for the ARC and relocate the BOV.

Rookie - I really appreciate your help. I already have 2 ports welded on the intake pipe. What do you mean by "The fitting it is going into now goes back to the turbo"? The fitting goes to the turbo?
I have the HKS FCon so I know the MAF isn't messing things up because of the HKS SSQV.
My #1 question is...What can I do right now to fix my setup(add filters, move hoses, add fittings, scrap the catch can, etc....)??
Thanks again for your help.
I just took some more pics...

These two pipes and this hose are off...
What do I do about the opening on the turbo intake pipe now? Route a hose from the turbo intake pipe to the rear crankcase intake fitting?...
-So what do I do about the small welded pipe welded onto the turbo intake pipe? The drivers side ARC catch can hose was connected to it (the one that has the heat blocking wrap around it) but now its open?
-What do I do with the crankcase intake fitting on the back drivers side valvecover?
-What do I do with the open fitting on the drivers side of the catch can?
Thanks

What's up man.
The way it is installed is correct by the ARC instructions, the way the JWT piping and hose set up is different from the other kits. The driver side breather that normally goes to the intake pipe now goes to the driver side turbo in. I have no idea why it is done this way, I'm sure JWT did it for a reason.
The ARC config takes the PCV, and the driver side breather to one side of the tank. They say it is a one way valve on the ARC tank but from looking at it they put a small barrier at the passenger side of the tank. I can assume this is to help catch vapors and blow by before it is returned to the intake tract.
The way it is set up now, the driver side turbo is sucking in air thru the ARC can.
For troubleshooting, since you say the passenger side turbo is the one smoking. Put it all back to stock and see if the problems is still there. Take the cap off of the lower collector port, connect the port to the pcv. Take the hose coming off the driver side breather. Put a hose between the driver side breather and the 1 port of the driver side turbo in that is empty.
Here is the JWT instruction for the TT kit. Page 13 has the pcv extension info. http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/wol...06-13-2007.pdf

Thanks Rookie, I put the lines back to stock like you said, from the open turbo port to the rear engine driverside breather. Just need to figure the following and I'll be done....
Here's where i'm at...Are these hooked up right?
What do I do with this hose/fitting on the catch can? This side is sucking a lot of air in when running, is that right?

Plug it, or remove the ARC can completely from the equation for troubleshooting. The lower port on the collector should connect to the pcv if you want to take the ARC can out of the equation. If you want to leave it in as a traditional catch can, one of the ports on the can needs to be plugged.
