Default Turbonetics reflash to TXS UTEC (Tune at GTM dyno comparison)

I just picked up my car at GTM for tuning. Turbonetics owners what do you think (comments).Sorry for the bad quality no scanner.

Before w/reflash: Now W/UTEC and JWT FMU tune 91 octane:
321 whp 350 whp
315 trq. 352 trq.
8 psi 8 psi
10.5 AFR 11.2 AFR

Here are my mods.
Greddy evo2
greddy type r BOV
Motordyne 5/16 spacer
380cc

Sam highly recommended to get rid of the greddy evo2 exhaust (bottle neck) he thinks that there is more power to gain if I change my exhaust.
The car runs great compare w/reflash, idle is steady and NOT bouncing anymore and wow no more hesitation during WOT!

oh lord, the evo II's doesnt cut for turbo setups. a nice single 3" with a good ypipe should free up a few more ponies.

^ I just like how the evo2 looks and sounds. I hate single exhaust on the Z but I guess no choice.

the best exahaust that fits directly onto the turbonetics kit.

I also had the Greddy Evo II exhaust which was originally designed for NA and Sam also recommended I get rid of the exhaust for a custom 3" pipe.

I have the same kit as you do but using the Greddy EU and APS 440cc injectors and I made 370+rwhp and 360+tq.

However, the way I see it is that having a bottleneck like this can possibly lead to a greater safety margin in keeping your engine intact. I mean, if you had a built motor, then yeah, go for the freest-flowing but it is up to you. Your numbers should be noticeably higher than that and I think the exhaust is the culprit.

Addition: I loved the sound of the EvoII but check my sig for the exhaist that I went with. It is designed for turbo'd cars and I only purchased the muffler. It also is smaller-looking than stock and has the same design as stock.

^Thank you for your input. Your dyno #'s with the custom 3" or with the greddy evo?

With the custom 3". I asked TurboXS if I could just purchase the muffler instead of the whole kit which had twin 3" piping.

GTM then did the fabrication to connect the muffler with the downpipe.

My car is louder than I want it to be unless I am really controlling the load of the car.

I'm like you. I like the look of the EVO 2. But my car put down 351whp on a DD and my car is a non rev-up also. You can see the mods in my sig. But like every motor being different, it must react to mods differently.

you don't have to run a single... check out Taurran's thread. just have a single into dual exhuast, much like stock (doesn't need to be the same canister style)...

you might even be able to reuse the mufflers you like and just have the piping redone.

Is it me or not?!

Doesnt these numbers seem real low for 8PSI turbo Kit? I'm just saying I know Ive seen several Turbonotics Kits with 400 to the wheel.
