Default Where can I buy the 700BB turbos for my JWT TT?

Anyone know where I could find these at a good price? Jeremy from Performance Factory is shipping me my new long block soon, but it looks like JWT is asking way too much for them.

Is anyone selling them used here on the forum?

that is why it is best to upgrade when doing the initial install, at that point it is only like 600 bucks but once used it is like 2500

Believe me I know that . The turbo came with the car. My plan was to get the long block put it, JWT clutch & flywheel, a new fuel system, EvoTT, and upgrade the turbos. I have everything sitting in my living room. The only thing missing are the turbos.

Worse comes to worse I'll buy them new from Jeremy, but I was hoping someone might be able to steer me in the right direction at this point.

I believe you will need new turbo manifolds also.

It sounds like you're gonna do a proper job building your car up for some big power. Do yourself a favor and get something a little more serious than the JWT clutch.

The shop that's putting all this in for me is pushing clutchmasters. Any recommendations?

Competition Clutch Stage 4 Clutch and Flywheel Combo. Thats what I have, and I love it. I wasn't sure about putting it on the car at first, because when I searched this site, no one seemed to have it on their car. But after driving the car, I can assure you that it is an awesome setup for everything from performance driving to stop and go traffic. The JWT is just basically a Fidanza flywheel and stock clutch, so I think your money would be better spent elsewhere personally. Hope that helped.

Did you ask Jeremy if he could get you a good price on them?

Thanks, I'll definitely look into it!

Yeah he checked for me, but even he said I'd be better off selling my kit and buying the upgraded one which is just a pain and requires the funds to be there right now. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, but if I could get them at a decent price I could make some money back from the old ones and it wont hurt as bad.

If that's the case, consider the old manifolds sold

I'm in the market for the manifolds and I can make do with that size flange.

(so if you can find a buyer for the used turbos, that can alleviate some of the expense of switching)

That may be a little overkill for what he is looking for. Whenever I build my engine, I will probably upgrade to a carbon triple disk clutch, but for anything less than 500~ whp, that seems a like an unnecessary move.

it not a different size flange, it is to allow the larger turbos to fit where they do.

Ohhh gotcha. Yeah I thought they used the same flange but your post made me question that. Is the 850 internal wastegate/same flange too?

(and does the 850 use the 700's manifolds w/out worry for turbo fitment?)

Dude save your self some money on the long haul! Get the carbon triple and you will never buy another clutch.

I think he will be over 500 hp with a built motor and 700bb kit.

Hmmm, yeah, now that I think about it you're probably right. If you're building the engine, whats another grand? Just ball out and go for the Carbonetic triple.

I'll post a feeler later on today for the turbos. That and a couple of other non-350Z stuff I don't need anymore. Hit me up for dibs on a 50" Samsung 1080p DLP

Don't forget, if you need new manifolds, I'll buy up the old ones so they don't hafta just sit around.
