Default 03-05 350z HKS TT ???

I have been researching turbo and supercharger applications for my 2003 Track 350z. I came across the January 2008 D-Sport magazine that lists all the applications for the 350z and I came across a TT kit from HKS. I did a bunch of looking online and all I could find is a picture of the real kit from HKS.

<a href="http://s100.photobucket.com/albums/m14/racerfreakxxx/?action=view&current=1_02_10_2007_14_26_hks20350z20turbi.jpg " target="_blank"><img src="http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m14/racerfreakxxx/1_02_10_2007_14_26_hks20350z20turbi.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Does anyone know anything about this turbo kit from HKS?

what you see in that pic is ALL you get too...its a real waste of money when you can get a greddy with intercooler kit for cheaper if you look around enough

hks likes to mark everything up

Is that why I can't find any info or any places selling the kit? What is the deal w/ the rarity of this kit?

uhhh hks is known for quality and reliability along with good product installation so it doesn't look like crap. If you've seen other kits it looks like a forest in there

I have read that HKS is getting sude for this product like especially for supercharger because vertex did the design without HKS and now HKS is selling it. its gonna be more that 6K.

from reading on the forums, TN, Greddy, APS is whats known.

correct...aps, greddy, turbonetic, sound performance, and a few others are all tried and true and tested...and they all are good choices.

the problem with the hks is just that its not much for what you are paying for. with all the other kits you get a lot more for a lot less...plain and simple

no that law-suit was over them badging the Rotex Supercharger as their design. but it wasn't. so they revamped it and made it the GT superchager.

nothing to do with their turbo kits.

^+1 there was stipulation (and for good reason) that hks just took the rotex kit and fabricated it with a hks logo...and called it theres...that had since been terminated

You read wrong. There were issues with the Rotrex kit, which they never claimed as HKS, because they did actually call it the HKS Rotrex Supercharger. HKS had issues with reliability and they wanted rotrex to sort it out, but Rotrex wasn't interested, so HKS took the design and improved it.

To the OP.
What you see in the pic is what you get. Lacking in what you need, but a very good, well built starter kit (that's what they call it). Yes HKS retails it for 6000, but you can pick it up for around 4800 i believe, which isn't too bad, and you get the HKS badge. There are cheaper options out there, but HKS do spend a lot in R&D, which can't really be said for most other companies out there.
But what do i know, i'm just an HKS nuthugger!

We just started on one, and personally, I think its looking very promising, besides the fact you need an intercooler kit, and misc pipes made. But its nothing that we cant do. We'll keep you updated.
