Default turbonetics install questions

i'm having a turbonetics turbo installed on my 2004 Z this coming week. my questions are that i have headers, cai and hiflo cats. do i have to remove the headers? do i have to remove hiflo cats? the cai i know will have to be removed. what i mean is will the turbo fit with the headers and the cats or do i have to reinstall the old parts?. thanks for any input...

Isn’t there a forced-induction forum for forced-induction threads?

What type of headers? The TN kit works best with the stock manifolds anyways. I had headers and the downpipe would not work due to the type of headers I had, So I had to remove them.

So far as the stock cats, they will have to be removed. What type of TN kit did you order, the one with new cats or no cats?

Now that I think, I don't remember if you can get the DC headers to work. I want to say you can with some modifcation to the piping. Not sure. But your best bet is to go back to the stock manifolds, for that's what works best for the TN kit.
