Default Starting Vortech install this weekend, need 3.33 pulley

First off - I know this is against the rules, but no one is looking in the "Wanted" section to try and sell their 3.33 pulley - and I know there should be a ton of these floating around. Also, if I post in the FS section, that is also against the rules

I'm having a heck of a time finding someone with a 3.33 pulley to sell w/o posting in here. I bought a used kit w/o the 3.33, and am looking start off conservative with the Si-trim. If you have one that is in good shape, please let me know. I'm starting my install this weekend, so I would like to have it in a few weeks. I'm thinking of paying maybe $30 shipped?

Again mods, sorry for the WTB thread, but I'm getting desperate!

I should be taking detailed pics of my install, along with wiring up my gauges (STRI's), using the UTI software with the UTEC, etc. I'm also putting together a little site to list parts, prices, vendor reviews, etc.

Thanks guys,

- Jon

That is exciting!!! Keep us posted and let me know if you need some help!!

Interested in what wide band you are using and if you are using the UTI to data log from it.

Hey since we are on the subject, does anyone have a 3.12 pulley for the Vortech they would like to sell?

^ You have enough of your own work to do, which I'm anxiously awaiting I'm sure I'll be asking you plenty of questions though, like I already have been.

Actually, quick question - do you think 1/4" tubing going from the Vortech filter to the inlet of the oil catch can (passenger side) will be thick enough? I don't feel like running a fat 3/8" fuel line all around my engine bay.

^ I bought the Innovate LC-1 with DB gauge from Import Image (vendor on here). I'll be using UTI to log, which I just purchased and downloaded the other day. I heard with UTI-3 (in beta), the LC-1 might not be working quite right. I'm going to stick with UTI 2.7.5 for now since there are quite a few features that were not ported over into UTI-3 yet. Once I get the UTEC installed and at least running in the 0% column I'll let you know how well UTI does at syncing up the AFR w/ the UTEC. That should hopefully be two weekends from now, if I'm lucky.

Great!!! I look forward to your progress!!

Did you get your laptop and your UTEC communicating out of the car yet and have the chance to play with it???

Did you use one of the USB drivers or a serial cable if so?

Yup, I got the UTEC running on the 9v and connected to my computer through USB (don't need serial to usb converter), using the supplied USB drivers from TurboXS. Setup HyperTerminal like the instructions stated and I could connect up just fine, and captured the existing maps/params from the previous owner's setup.

Once I figured out what COM port the UTEC was connected on, it was really easy to get UTI up and running, pulling info from the UTEC. Obviously it's out of the car, so the values were all off and not changing much, and I couldn't log any "pulls", but at least it connected up just fine.

Thinking about doing some of the tuning yourself?

I am going to get the car running myself with some informational help from JT at Performance Factory. I want to get it running good so I can have everything good and problem free for when I fly him up here to really put the power down.

I would hate to have him come up here and I have a boost or fuel leak the first time it starts up boosted or the UTEC isn't working properly with my fuel system/supercharger.
