Default Turbo blanket wire

So this may be a dumb question, but I just got my PTP turbo blanket. The fitment is really tight, as you may already know. Is it COMPLETELY essential to install the wire to hold the tabs together? The blanket is VERY snug under the intercooler piping and doesn't budge much... I'm just being paranoid, as I always am

You don't have to secure it down, but it couldn't hurt. Just get some "utility wire" from any discount auto parts store.

Mine is wired together, but the wire is rather loose. Blanket never seems to move though

Mine is just sitting in there with no wires at all and it doesn't go anywhere.

cool. Thanks for the input guys. I'm amazed as to how much it reduces engine bay heat!!! I can put my hand in the blanket even while the car is running! Good stuff
