No unfortunately is does not. However its not much different then at the point vs a greddy tt kit. I doubt the crash bar will even help at speeds above 5-10 mph.

Hey Guys, I finally got around to installing the CAI I bought off John (jtgli) for my Vortech. The fit was perfect and I think it looks great. He offers different colors and it is a true quality piece. John is also a great guy to work with and will go out of his way to make sure the intake is that way you want it. Price is very good too! Here are some pics. Thanks John!

Glad you like it Bryan. It looks badass polished on your car. I still have 2 more in both styles if anyone else is interested. I am also currently in the works of making a 3.5" pipe to run with the T-Trim charger.

I have not done any dyno testing on it at all. In all honesty I do not think that it will make a 10+whp difference or anything drastic. I did notice on my car that boost went up a psi at redline and that could be from the intake being more free flowing. As for the hose that connects to the filter, it is the PCV breather and I just attach a breather filter onto the hose.

I just got mine in the mail and attempted a straight up install a few minutes ago. I found out that version two definitely doesn't work, straight out of the box wit the G35 without some modification. The second problem I foresee is that the setup itself is very heavy, which makes me wonder how safe it is to be running this pipe without any stabilizer peice which is part of most CAI's to prevent the pipe from moving and to take some of the tension off of the couplers.
I will let you guys know what I find out and how I've made this work for my G35. but this wont be until Monday, since I need to prep my car for a show tomorrow, and the actual show is on Sun.
