Size of socket to remove oil pressure sending unit?
I have tried to search and just got off the phone with Nissan and have had no luck. I need to remove the oil pressure sending unit and it looks to be about a 22 or 23mm bolt. I am going to go buy a socket or wrench as I don't have anything over 19mm. Does anyone know the size? I even checked the Vortech manual and they don't specify this
I use a Channel-Locks for install and remove. It takes very little pressure to install and remove.
Since it is a pipe thread, it is tapered from smaller to larger, and, too tight is a serious no-no.
Use Permatex teflon sealer, NOT tape and just snug it
Im serious when I say that it needs to be finger tight and maybe just another 1/2 turn and a socket in the wrong hands allows for too much leverage

+1 don't over tighten it,or you'll regret it...

Well I just installed my feed line (I just now got back online to read all of your advice). Of course the output was at the farthest possible point once finger tight so I had to make almost one complete revolution to make it so I could screw in the feed line, if that makes sense. I single wrapped the threads with teflon tape which I see now I shouldn't have
the instructions just said to use oil so I added just a bit of tape for good measure. I feel that everything went in well and I did not strip anything out, should I go back and redo this or just leave it alone? By the way it is a 24mm.

Also...... TT or TS on NPT is good but.......and I have seen this a 100 times, Never apply it to a tapered fitting that a hose/SS Line screws on (TN feed, Clutch lines, Brake lines etc) In other words the adapter End... Male to Female
