Recently the banjo bolts for oil pan started to leak heavily, and so I started to search for a solution but it seems that the only ones I found did not have a clear solution.

It seems that most just get new banjo bolts which tend to leak later down the line.

Has anyone found a solution that isn't just temporarily fixing the problem?

Mine did the same thing and it got progressively worse.I went and got the AAM oil pan spacer and braided line kit and reused the old factory oil pan.

I agree Kev. The SS return line and AAM Oil Pan Spacer is definitely the way to go.

PM JetPilot. he changed out his banjo fittings to -AN fittings. I know he needed some elbows too, but he got it all worked out. The fitting in the pan is an odd oe though. it is a metric straight thread..........I don't remember the size though.

your link is for the feed lines. the OP needs fittings for the returns that dump into the oil pan.

nice idea quad but after buying the fittings and payin g for welding u may as well have purchased the spacer. its simple and effective. not to mention quite reliable.

i got mine from here they use all -AN fittings instead of the crappy banjo bolt. Just give them a call and let them know what you need:

I had the same problem and the kit sold by forgedperformance.com solved it. No leaking with over a year of abuse.

anyone have any pictures of the FP lines...They are just for the feed not the return, which is where the banjo bolts are....Jet if you read this would you mind PMng me or posting up your the AN sizes that you got.. THanks

i replace the standard metal washers with felt ones and i havn't had a problem since

They are actually the lines that AAM makes and forged just sells them.And they are the return lines not the small feed lines....the banjo bolts are what attach the lines to the greddy oil pan.

I figured as much it would make no sense to upgrade the feed line, I was thrown off because the FP site says "supply" line. So are these lines meant for the spacer or can they go right into the Greddy Pan?

there is no welding necessary. You have to buy a metric to AN adapter and it screws right into the pan.......something like this one.

of course, you also need braided AN hose and fittings for the hose, but that's it.

Yup. No leaks and I can sleep at night knowing I'm not losing oil, or at risk for a rubber hose burning up and melting down.

Hey Randy,

But you are using the AAM oil pan spacer. I mean the simply solution would be to just get new banjo bolts, but I was looking for a permanent fix. At this point it seems to either ditch the greddy pan for a spacer or to weld.
