Buy my APS 2.5" exhaust. It's a great exhaust and a nice combination with any ST kit.

the turbonetics piping is 3 inch. wouldnt connecting a 2.5 inch exhaust cause a loss in power, or not much gain at all?

I made 412whp/431tq on the reflash and 380cc injectors @ 9.1psi.

The Fujitsubo exhaust is nice if you want something really quiet. I miss driving around and hearing the spool over the exhaust/wastegate dump noise.

Some old video of drivebys:

the turbonetics kit does have a 2.5 inch down pipe, but the pipe after that, connectingto the exhaust is a 3 inch. thats why on their sight they claim to have a 3 inch down pipe. i hate to be repetative, but what exhaust would people suggest for my setup? Currently i have a turbonetics kit, kinetix SSV, JWT clutch/flywheel.

I'm running a very modified GReddy EVO2. I love how quiet it is and the tone is badass, but I hate the amount of money I've spent on modifying it and straightening out the mufflers I used a magnaflow 3" inlet to two 2.5" outlets reverse y-pipe.

Here's a vid from last year on the dyno, listen to the exhaust note right before the wastegate opens up.

Why wouldn't you connect a single 3" pipe to that single 3" fitting, sucka?

The Fujitsubo exhaust is a 3" mid pipe and splits up to dual 2.25" pipes after the rear muffler. I also would not put a single exit exhaust on my Z becuase I think it just looks odd and they usually sound a bit ricier.

I personally think that it's sufficient for stock power and boost levels and has the sweetest mild tone out of all the exhausts out there. As far as I know my car has made the most power on these forums on a reflashed turbonetics Z, all with the fujitsubo exhaust.

Here's a video of mine with the Fujitsubo on the same dyno as Diwun's above. I love the quiet exhaust sound because the turbo and bov are really loud over it.

Not saying a dual exit exhaust wont work or will lower HP or anything, but it would be too quiet for me, After having TP and 3" single on NA everything is too quiet for me lol. I love the single 3" sound and its looks, but we all know that is subjective.
That said I've always loved your car, taurran, its clean as hell. (I'd slap a single on it )

Thanks.

Yeah, it's really personal preference. I prefer a quiet mellow exhaust and louder turbo spool and others prefer to hear louder or raspier exhaust.

Agree that single exhausts look a little funny on most Z's out there... But if you are using a stock rear bumper and do the center mod, its a non issue. At first I swore I would never put a single exit exhaust on my Z, but now I think it looks better.

I recently just read that altered atmosphere makes a true dual 3 inch exhaust, and they can also provide the reverse y-pipe made just for the turbonetics kit. Would i see more gains out of that, or about the same as the fujitsubo?
