Big difference between HR HG and DE HG

 

Let me clarify.... Stock Block (Meaning unsleeved and stock bore), Stock Headgaskets, Stock Heads (Meaning un-alterted heads). Aftermarket pistons, rods, and cams are used, but the block and the heads are un-altered.

Whats the max that the 18g's are good for per Greddy...then we should be able to figure out how much nitrous was used.

Forcefed...are there any suspension mods done to help put the power down at the track? With that kind of power I don't think slicks are gonna do it alone!!

10.5" DR's hook up much more powerful cars-thats no offense to Ray. After seeing Ray run this past wekeend, he needs an alignment and needs to make sure the wheelbase stays equal/car straight afterwords!

I didn't see that post...I didn't know Greddy (18g's) were good for that kind of power on boost alone (750+)...thats impressive.

 

that's a 4th gear graph. 114-115 is about right at 6600 rpms.

 

i may have missed it but where did he say 750whp was the 18Gs without nitrous...jsut race gas? and what psi?

+1...probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go with some different rear springs and shocks though..

 

the numbers are still a little high for being in 4th gear.. 18G's should be good for 700 whp

Holy **** Ray when i was at your shop for the meet and dyno day i never thought i see that damn blue z of yours with that much power.I still remember when i had to line up against you at mason dixon and run you as i thought something was wrong with my car as you pulled me so bad.Then i found out who you were and what you had under the hood.

 

Here is an older graph using 93 octane (no water injection)
With the water injection I would think it might be able to make 670-680rwhp, but I can't say because I haven't tried it yet.
