If they have replaced the clip, then drive it. Don't let the speed bumps discourage you.

So it's the clip on the fuel pump hanger under the rear passenger seat?

when you open the little door to get to the fuel pump, it is right there....located directly behind the passneger seat under the glove box

It sounds like something was damaged during the installation of your fuel pump. MRC should stand by there work, and I'm sure they will. Deffiently sounds like it was an accident. I would talk to Julian, and see what he can do.

holy crap, so u had gas pumpin inside your car?

it makes a solid click when done right? the CJM comes with a clip to AN fitting. seems like a new basket with all AN fittings is the way to go.

All in All it doesn't sound like a pleasant experience thus far.. It's summertime and if i couldn't drive for whatever reason i'd loose it.. sounds like ur trying extremeley hard to be diplomatic which in the end i hope works out for ya... Thanks for the updates! I can only imagine how painful it is to relive the experience for us on the forums to see..

it didn't pump onto the floorboard in the cockpit, but it pumped out right below the glove box so you smell it as if it pumped into the car. Not to mention this event was the cockblock of the century...

On the other hand, when it is running right, it is pretty cool. Love, then hate, then love, then hate again.

I know in the CJM and AAM manual, they go into great detail the importance of getting that connection right.
phew! well, that's good to know. thanks for the info.

OP - maybe time to upgrade to the CJM return fuel system...

What does a fuel return system do? MRC never mentioned a need for it, even after my problem

From my understranding, the fuel pressure at that clip stays a constant 51 psi ...I don't think this system would help with the problem I am having

Yea, this is not what i need then. This is only for people pushing high horsepower who are not getting adequate fuel delivery. my problem is the fuel delivery....because the line pops off!
