Fired it up yesterday.....just needs button up, more bumper trimming, and a few hours of housekeeping/dyno tuning. I hope to have this back in Jermey's hands on Tues.

Man I would be afraid of driving that car on the road, too much money and detail gone into that car. Is is strictly a show car? Or do you drive it on nice weekends?

 

It is very hard to drive the car. I have totaled two 350Zs both were not my fault.

Yes, the car is a show car and we trailer it to shows. We have 1,916 miles on it currently and we got it in early 2007.

We do drive it locally to three different shops to have work done on it. We also drive it to local meets/shows in Atlanta. We drove it on the Tail of the Dragon at ZdayZ this year.

Every time we have driven it we have done some damage to the car since the roads in downtown Atlanta where we live are horrible. Makes it hard to justify driving it with the money we have in the car.

Now that we are getting the TT I will drive it more on weekends; however it is a huge risk every time it hits the road.

 

ah, im sure autozone has touchup paint in that shade of green.

 

Don't I wish. Having to take it back to the body shop all the time is getting very old. (Not to mention expensive)

 

man I couldn't have a tt Z and not drive the **** out of it on a daily basis. but thats just me

 

I enjoy showing the car. Risk of damage is to much for me. I have never owned a TT Z until now so maybe my outlook will change.

If you drive it... it will get beat up. Either drive it and don't worry about it or show until you don't anymore. Me... I will drive the **** out of mine. I'd be upset if I put into a wall, but I built it knowing that was a significant possibility.

 

Sharif tuned the car tonight. #s are in for the heartbreaker. He said he will run it on the dyno jet tomorrow to see how it does.
