My APS TT Experience
My TT story started in this past winter.
I bought the APS TT through MRC along with Utec and injectors. All the parts were in within a week.
My brother pulled the motor and did most of the work. I was there more for moral support.lol.. The job was done in under a week. We then limped down to MRC and got a nice conservative tune, 8psi around 400whp..nice! Car has great torque and pulls great..I'd recommend the APS tt to anyone in the market for a twin setup..
Due to unfortunate circumstances, I bounced off a guard rail and the car was considered totalled .. I bought the car back and it sat in my driveway while I looked for another 06 to buy. I found one upstate and got it. drove it around for a month non turbo, swapped the diff and susp. parts over.
I drove home from My place in Conn. on a Friday night over a month ago, and my brother did the motor swap that weekend. I drove home that Sunday night!! thats great.. since then the car has been running great, we turned the boost up a little, and the AFR's are 11.1-11.3 across the board.
I couldnt be happier with the setup, and my brothers help. The random parts through MRC dont hurt either( guages ect)Im building the motor that came out of the new car, so next fall I'll be ready for some sweet numbers.
People say you get used to the power, and its dead on true. My car got slow the third day I was home..
