Default ????? No spark

Ok, just finished up everything on the TN install. Tried starting the car but its like the car isn't getting any spark. I already checked everything TN said do in the instructions. All thats good. Tried doing the throttle body reset since I had it unplugged. But that doesn't seemed to be working. Is there any special trick to get that to work?

Long shot, but I disconnected wire clips around my ignition when I was doing my wiring install and forgot to hook it back up, which caused the immobilizer to kick in and prevent spark. I cranked that thing over so many times before realizing it :-/

I made sure the coils for the plugs were installed in the right order. Just layed them next to where they go when the spark plugs were installed. I'll have to check the wires for the ingnition even though I just pulled the dash away but never go to pulling away any wires. Also I noticed that when I put the ingnition to on the high pitch noise you hear when the throttle body is getting a signal is no longer present.

^^^It doesn't do anything. Car trys to crank but the ignition isn't firing. I wonder if my key just lost its programing due to not being used for almost 2 months.

Have you tested for spark, or are you assuming there is no spark.

You'll know if it's a key/ignition problem. When you turn the car to "ON", you'll see the security led lit. That means that the ignition is immobilized, if I remember correctly. If the light isn't on, then you should be fine.

^^^I checked it recently. Light isn't on. I remember when my throttle body went out. The car did the samething. It would crank all day long but there was no ingnition. I had my throttle body unplugged for a lil while. Like I posted earlier, I plugged the throttle body back in and tried doing the reset but the valve is not moving at all. The car will still crank but thats it. Everything else is fine.

Get a spark tester. That's a given.

Check coil pack connections. Double check to make sure everything is wired into the UTEC correctly. Make sure the UTEC has power. I'm assuming you changed to new (colder) plugs since you went FI, so rule out faulty spark plugs.

In case you do have spark...
When you turn the key to ON, but don't start, does your fuel pump prime? You'll hear the low hum noise. Did you install new injectors correctly and wire those up at all or correctly?

If you are really in for a quick sign of spark... Take all the plugs out... Put a tiny bit of gas in each cylinder, reinstall spark plugs and everything, then try starting the car again. If it starts, you have spark.

^^^^Utec has power. At first I thought it was the fuel pump. Got a walbro a few months back...it was bad right out of the box. It would prime but sound like it wasn't pumping fuel. Car wouldn't start. Pulled off fuel hose and there was no fuel. Did the samething with this new one but fuel came out of the hose. So I know its not the fuel pump this time. New injectors were put in. Completly plug and play, didn't have to re wire anything. Its just really strange.

Is there a way you could plug in the OEM ecu just to see if it starts?

Tried connecting the utec to a laptop. Utec wouldn't connect. Disconnected it from the ecu. Car fired right up. WTF? I wonder why the utec isn't connecting. A few weeks ago it would connect to my laptop no problem. Hadn't done anything different. I'm glad the car cranked up but now it idles horribly.
