The TN Kit is a very nice kit and very attractive when the hood is popped, however there are a few design flaws and limitations to power that leave something to be desired.

TN Kits are ok for anyone who decides to install the kit and do nothing else, however if you are looking for a great design, raw power and a great group of guys that stand behind their product then PowerLab is the only way to go.

I must say that TN has great customer service and always has someone on the boards to look out and answer questions, they also help if you have a problem with a part or need a part thats underwarranty, however TN's lack of attention lately to the 350z/G35 market has put powerlab as the Premiere Single Turbo Kit for the 350z/G35 market.

Twins were always the way to go and Twins were the only way to make big power, it was always this way and no one could argue that point, UNTIL the boys at powerlab put their heads together and prove that the Twin Turbo Setup can be competed with pound for pound..

maybe i have ranted a little too much and gone of topic, but if you are seriously considering a Single Turbo Kit for your Z.. there is no question if you should get a Powerlab kit or not.. its not even a thought

doug understands that the limitations of past years with single turbos is now over, and there are more options now and powerlab has deliverd in quality and performance.

For dealers the powerlab kit is a great product suported by great people... and of course very attractive from the "economic point of view". As the board can see only top shops are powerlab dealers:

What this means for users is that they no longer have to go TT kit any more, and with the recent jump in pricing from companies like greddy on their pricing the powerlab kit shaping up as one of the best options.

I've been doing a lot of research on the Power Lab kit lately, and it seems like the most complete/quality kit available right now. The intake temps on the TN are just ridiculous.

Which would you rather have?

Darren (knows that you will make the right decision)
I make 400whp at 8.5psi on my TN kit. But I'd much rather have a PL

anyone have numbers to back up the TN higher intake info? I feel like plenty or people are bandwagonners..... It makes sense it would be higher, but with such quick airflow is this like a 10-15 degree thing or a 30+ thing? Just wondering.....

If its such a problem would think more people or TN itself would have redesigned

If someone wants a to go Turbonetics check the market place out. I'm parting my car out. By September I will pull my built VQ out. It still runs clean. I will post the engine up in September.
